This visit I was able to add a great restaurant to my list – Lupo Restaurant and Vinoteca– A delicious Italian eatery that is held in what feels like a cozy heritage home. I had always imagined this place would have been a little stuffy but I knew I was wrong when I heard that the bar up the stairs was featuring the final game of the Canucks vs San Jose series. The entire restaurant was a buzz when we heard the streets erupt with horns and shouts of praise echoing off the glass buildings and concrete.
The interior seems understated and cozy it showcases the amazing food rather well. At Lupo you are eating delectable food without the shock of a large bill at the end and the service couldn’t be better. The waiters let us take our time and made great recommendations.

The Gnocchi was nothing short of homemade and the perfect comfort food in my mind. Although the porcini mushrooms and small pieces of pork cheeks were a little lost in the sauce. Overall the food was worth every penny and was very well the best Italian food I’ve had in a long time (within Canada).
